It gets the 890cc V2 engine and a few widgets. Base model £11995. https://www.ducati.com/gb/en/bikes/monster/monster-v2. Andy
I think it looks slightly better than the current model (never did like those sequential indicators) https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/2025/october/ducati-monster-v2-engine-update/
So is the only material difference between that and a Streetfighter v2 now that the ECU has a ‘detune’ map in it to 109hp? It’s all very samey… there is potential danger of dilution, because the old streetfighter is a completely different proposition to the monster
Not compared to its predecessors, stock and "wet". 2025 193 (175k + 18) 2023 188kg 2010 185kg (167 + 18) 2002 203 (185 + 18)
Its hard to know what fluids any of the models have included in the "wet" calculation TBF. Even so its plus or minus about the same.
Their(Ducati) specs quote wet, excluding fuel. I take that as all other fluids present. Anyway it’s a fat one for sure. ALL manufacturers should quote full wet weight: full tank of fuel, battery, coolant etc etc.
