Hello people, it’s been about five years since I sold my 11 99 I spent an absolute fortune getting it to where I wanted it to be. And then sold it to buy a RSV4 RF That I never really got on with ! Very fast But I could never seem to ride it as well as I did the 1199 abs With all of the bits bolted on. So fast forward and I’ve spotted a Tricolour for sale But I can’t figure out whether they are lots of money for a bike that is 13 years old or if that’s what their value is ???
As far as I’m aware, they didn’t have a number stamped on them and I have no idea how many they made. But they still seem to be achieving high values. ???
They were not ‘plaque’ limited but the production run was very short. Around a year/14months ish if I remember correctly. Mate is selling his on here.
Hi. I concur with comments above - i had one new. They actually came with the Termi as an extra in a box so a standard one was fitted from the factory. Someone mentioned baffles - i don’t recall seeing these and i don’t recall any holes to put a bolt to hold them in. I don’t think i have ever seen those fairing extenders fitted and they did come with the bike. Also single seat ‘set up’ came with it. I might have some photos of the stuff so i’ll have a look. As for limited run, no plaque but limited by demand. Pricing…11 to 17 depending on mileage and if the Temu parts catalogue has been thrown at it….and also who is selling it. New unregistered one for sale at 21k atm. One of the best bikes i’ve owned.
