  1. Just wanted to say shwmae/ hi :)

Got my first Monster+ in January of this year, however in May got rear ended and ended up underneath a car. My Monster pride and joy was written off, which I was more upset about than the crush injuries.

I got a Suzuki GSX-8R as a daily ride recently whilst waiting to find out what was going on with the Monster (wasn't told it was written off for ages and only got the insurance through for the bike after almost 5 months), and as great as the Gixxer is for a short girlie with plenty of twitch in the throttle, it wasn't the same as my Ducati.

Fast forward to this week, and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of a twin of the Monster+ that was written off. I can't explain why I wanted a like-for-like replacement, but it's just a me thing. I'm really excited to be Ducatista once again

Am loving the forum, loads of stuff to learn and loads of people just out there enjoying their bikes, which is what it's all about!

  11. Hello and sorry to hear of your rear enders. Must be buxome lasses in Wales if you think a GSX-8R is for short girlies?

  12. You can imagine the jokes : unamused::joy:

  13. Have a T Rex lowering kit fitted and it is brilliant. But yeah, still struggle to get it upright if parked on any decent camber. Some vague attempt at a karate kick as I swing my leg over usually does it o_O
