Sat indoors, wrapped up warm, waiting on the boiler technician to rock to get the central heating working. Fingers crossed it is just the diverter valve although he was pre warned the PCB might need replacing as well. Andy
Agghh, diverter valves, I have to change the electronics/motor module on ours every other year and the actual valve every @4yrs. I've always got a spare in stock @£50 from screwfix. I even had a proffesional look at it when he serviced the boiler a few years ago and he couldn't tell me why.
Turns out it was the stepper motor that operates the diverter valve. An expensive pre paid call out for a cheap part but the technician has said he’ll try and get me a partial refund. Have bitten the bullet though and agreed to a 3 year maintenance contract, £12/month to cover an annual service and up to 4 breakdown call outs over the 3 years. Andy
Had a filling done in may, a week later had it drilled out and a new one put in as was causing agro. Just had it re done for a 3rd time.. They took a lot more care removing it today but fuck me, I'll take the local next time. And the filling was done differently so hopefully holds now. Tooth hurty
Finished assembling E-bike but too wet for a ride, just had big thunder followed by Datsun cogs. Currently binging "Slow Horses" Series 5 - critics say the format is running out of steam now..
