Two memories from the 60s for me:
1) Quality Street in Merstham, Surrey - just by where I got off the bus to go to primary school
2) Rage & jealousy because our neighbour's kids got the Corona lorry and we didn't

 

Yeah... same here which, along with ITV, patch pockets trousers & clackers, was considered far too common.

Now that takes me back, not heard that expression for years.

 

Not sure quite what's weirdest ..you not recognising a bottle opener, or you thinking a dropped spanner would root and produce something else ????

This could be false. Real maturity is when you stop wiggling your willy at your partner.. or so my wife says anyhow
