Not saying Scott Ogden’s going to be the next world beater by any means but he had a chance to get 4th after he’d watched his team mate getting carted off to hospital with life threatening injuries and although he’s had a shit second half of the season he’s still made huge steps forward this season. Regularly overlooked or poo poohed by the comms too while he’s finishing ahead of their flavour d’jour.
Late getting back to this thread ,but since getting back from holiday I have no idea where the time has gone. Had a great time at the GP apart from the incident during Moto 3 warm up which was very nasty. Was lucky enough to meet quite a few riders and team members at the airport on way home after the race on the Sunday night. And quite a lot of them were on our flight too. Had a good chat with Brad Binder. Really nice down to earth fella and had a good laugh with him. No aires or graces there. Alonso Lopez and Danny Holgado were directly behind us in the slow moving check in queue ( thanks Air Malaysia ) and they were both very amiable and good fun too. Quick hello with Paolo Simoncelli and Alberto Puig, and the highlight of an interesting day was getting a selfie with Suzy Perry, lol. My wife even told her how excited I'd been seeing ( Stalking ) her down the concourse ! I'll post a couple of not very good photos I'm afraid, My best action shot I took is unfortunately slightly out of focus of Joan Mir cocking the back wheel on entry to turn 15, bugger. When I get time I'll work on it to try and get it better unless there are any photo magicians on the forum that can help ?
Thanks very much. Sepang is a great track for roving. No specified seat numbers ,and so many great viewing areas to move around to even during the race ,and not missing any action. Thoroughly recommend it at least once.
