  11. Wish I hadn't taken these out the box now. Only worn once. Though it was a biggie. A bit more scuffed than I remember. But would polish up nicely. If no interest then no worries. I forgot how much I liked them. But a wee teaser for some of the other stuff I'm letting go. Though you can't see the bike trailer. those threads will be a bit more serious.

  13. onehunnerthoosanquid.
    chortle.
not entirely sure of prices tbh. i hate letting stuff go. i don't buy myself much, but what i do, it's only because i really really liked it. it's who is getting it, and will they look after it that interests me more.
the Fiat Coup will deffo be a bargain to the right person. i know it's history from pretty much day one. i consider it to be maybe a 6 out of 10 if comparing it to a concourse example. others may disagree. you know how it is. apparently the Reg No is highly sought after locally. it ends in SSB.

  14. got to love a Fiat coupe, I was at the motor show when it was released and still got some brand-new brochures. The way they hung the bonnet, and designed the whole frontal structure was innovative for the day wasn't it?

    they actually say US size 9 EU 43. i'm a size 8 normally. v,comfy.

  17. I loved my Fiat 126 coupe all 700cc of it, you could actually claim to have it at WOT constantly just to get anywhere.:D

  18. i think i PDI'd this one. the director's Mr's had it for a few months then it disappeared to somebody out of the area, only for it to reappear about 20yrs ago when a regular customer of mine bought it for her husband for his 40th. they didn't particularly look after it only doing servicing and repairs if absolutely necessary. they sold it to me for pennies around 12 years ago where it's sat for most of the time, in the corner gathering dust.
then.... an older grey haired lady came into the workshop to make an appointment. all the time she was talking to me she kept glancing over to the corner of the workshop. the booking was made, returned the following week for her repair holding an old photograph. she was the one that bought it from our dealership for her husband, way back in 1998 when they lived down near Glasgow. i now have the photo and another hopefullyloyal customer.
    what's the chances.

  19. we might have had this conversation before, I'm exactly the same. I had two Fiat 126 and two original Fiat 500. Loved them to pieces, only limitation is that you couldn't turn right on a fast A road at times LOL this manoeuvre has been removed from all A roads that I can think of, so wouldn't be a problem now.

  20. feckin weather. every bloody Sat/Sun at the mo after a not a cloud in the sky workweek.
i hoped to pull everything out this weekend, give em a hose off and start the ball rolling. but alas.
the reasons i'm selling is too much unused stuff. the CRF250x and DR250 were bought as the lad was getting quite good on his CRF125, there is a motocross track not too far from here and the stars aligned. then Covid...... pretty much stood unused ever since, bar the odd blast around the forest. i'm selling the coupe (while in the mood for doing so) because i want more space in the workshop for another ramp. why have four when you can have five? if this stuff remains until the spring i will be putting more effort into it. not looking to make profit, just clearing space without being totally robbed. any help in valuing would be much appreciated.
    .
not being particularly interested (too busy) in keeping myself up to date with prices but having a poke about it seems i got the CRF and bike trailer for a v,good price from a customer. could do with a new battery and fresh MOT but does £2.2k for a 2008 hardly used bike (could do with a polish) and trailer sound excessive? 2K for bike £200 for a three bike trailer. maybe a tad more if sold separately.
the DR is a bit scruffy but with a new battery i'm sure it would sail an MOT. £600?
to the right person. ie, somebody that would fully restore it or maintain it and maybe just use it on sunny weekends £2900?
the 848. hmm. don't know if i'm there yet.
