Have some incomming Termi silencers. Have read historic posts and know the three hex bolts are the real issue. The top two will either come off or they wont........ cant for the life of me work out how to get anything into the bottom bolt at all let alone enough torque to get it out. Other than a trip to the dealer i'm not sure its possible?
If its the same as the 1299, and assuming you mean the manifold bolts, then I got all mine off with wd40, 1/4" drive sockets, various extensions, and 10mm (I think) spanners, do very slowly, really easy to shear off
Did mine without removing rear wheel. Bit of a flaff. Used PlusGas and left it overnight. Considering they hadn’t been removed for at least 5 years, they came out fairly easily with no damage to either parts.
When I tried to change out the exhaust on my 1199 a few years ago they were just rusted and seized into crap. The first one I tried to turn rounded off the second I tried to turn it (bits fell off). I ended up drilling them out.
