996 What Shall I Do

  1. I’ve got a 996 in infostrada road bike and want to convert to a track bike so do I hang onto the road gear or sell it on ( apart from tank ).
Top fairing has some paint off and one of the side panels has some light marks on.

  2. Keep the road gear.

  3. Never sell anything.
Who knows what you will want to do in the future.

  4. The value of the parts is always worth more than a complete bike.

I think Aristotle said that :D

  6. No. Just the pricing for the service.

  7. No problem I’ll stick it in the loft.

  8. If you ever decide to sell it, a fully equipped road bike will have a higher value and, more importantly, desirability than a track only bike so, as per above I'd keep everything.

Plus if the bike is ever sold, stolen or destroyed as it is you can still sell the parts and, given increasing rarity then decent parts are likely to appreciate in value, maybe even more so than a bike? - try finding decent used fairings, seats, tanks etc. nowadays.
