Looks like Vindis is rationalising their dealership network. Ducati Cambs is closing and moving to Three10 Automotive in Fenstanton. Not a surprise considering their guvnor left earlier this year and other signs such as no bike transport etc. I now get to choose between staying with Vindis or going back to On Yer Bike since they're both the same distance away.
Well that’s a bugger. Another 16 miles each way for me. I’ll still use them id imagine though, as I hate the ride to Maldon from here.
Speaking personally both are equidistant from me and about 20 miles further away than Fenstanton, thanks anyway.
Was just in Cams Ducati last Wednesday. Not a big site by any means and set back a way from the main road. Didn’t have the air of closing about it

Was there today, Ducati Cambs - Turns out their guv left of his own accord and not due to the closure. Many staff are going over to the new site. It's a consolidation exercise by Vindis. Shame, but that's how it goes.
So...... Just popped into the new premises at Fenstanton today,and they are in the process of a new floor being laid.... Unfortunately the showroom apparently is not looking to be open in full unti early/mid Feb.... But omg,just floor space alone,this will be a vast improvement on the site at Cambridge,which was always an anticlimax,due to the size of the showroom... And win win,as only an hour away from where I live,and with all the closures in the industry this year,its nice to see a dealership end the year on a positive high !!!!
