Hi, Newbie 999 owner and got my first electrical gremlin..... Everything works and runs fine but the trip meter won't reset. This definitely used to work as I've done this a couple of times when filling up with fuel but now it refuses to reset. I can use the button to switch to the trip display okay (although often seems quite slow) but after that holding the button for several seconds does nothing. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks, Chris. I saw that post but didn't read to the end because my left button was clearly working as it cycles through total/trip/lap all okay. Got all hopeful but just tried the reset of the type, setting to 999 EN and still not working. What is odd is the button cycles through those modes perfectly UNTIL you try to do a trip reset at which point the whole dashboard will stop responding for about 20 seconds. Marelli wrote some pretty funky firmware in those days..........
