Just a quick question. Clutch nut not fully torqued yet but when I turn the clutch hub the basket move slightly with a bit of a wobble.

Is this normal. I can't say I noticed it the first time I put it together.

  2. My 916 basket had a bit of a wobble, since I needed to replace the clutch I pulled the cover off and replaced the bearings after checking the shaft play was ok. 6005 and 16005 from memory.

The bearings can't be pressed out as there is a circlip between them. I don't have any internal pullers the right size so I drill out the cage of the 6005 then yank the inner race out then you can remove the washer and press the 16005 out, then remove the circlip and finally press out the outer race of the 6005. Reinstall is much easier.

  3. M nine, Thanks for reply.
First did this cure the wobble. Bearing are new in casings and all seem solid there. When you say shaft play do you end float or if the casing bearings were worn.
I suppose I'll get some they are cheap enough and see if it fixes it. Thanks again.
