Can someone tell me please the reasoning behind removing the thermostat from within the Squirter unit on a Pani 899 ? This is the 2nd one I’ve had in the past 4 months (2/2) where the Squirter unit has been opened by someone (other than the current owner) and the thermostat removed.
This may not be relevant, but mine was removed. You can just see bottom left the very dark green manual switch poking out between carbon fibre and a cable. P&H Trioptions winner 2014.
One of the ECU mods I get for race/track bikes is to disable the fans. These are then removed along with the thermostat. Forward motion provides the cooling.
