A shorter stud will obviously sort that out, but knowing how keen people on here are to rely on their uncalibrated Torque Wrenches I feel obligated to point out the shorter stud won't help you getting a socket on it, and you'll have to use a crows foot or similar like when torqueing the heads down on an Air cooled Ducati twin.

as we're all having a pop at this - looks like a dummy fit anyway as can see what looks like masking tape between faces - the quickest (diy) way to begin matching up ports to manifolds etc etc .
