Oh man, RIP strangely I don't immediately remember the fight even though I must have watched it what with Errol being a Coventry lad an all. But 64 - that's no age and only 1 year older than me....
cheekily speaking for you and others - sadly we've reached that time Andy, you can see the gate up ahead now.. The trick is to stop looking at the gate.
Yeah... I hear you. I was going to add to my post that it seems all the sportsmen of my youth are starting to pass but thought better of it. I do like that advice mind
There's a book called '4000 weeks' which is roughly how long we live. I cheerily worked out that I have around 1000 weeks left, I'm similar age to you, so that means if I make a 'chuff chart' using one page of A4 for each week left (1000, 999, 998 etc) I only need 2 reams of paper, 2 weeks have already passed so I'm on 998.....
What a lovely cheerful post Ivor, Thank You! do i need to add a "wink" as well? - all this in total jest..
To cheer yourself up perhaps you could mark particular moments by purchasing a Ducati of the same number e.g. 996, 916, 864 (Bevel), 748, 500 etc...
..also, when you run out of the allocated-age/dying-paper, and live a further day, do you curse the fact that you have to buy more paper?
With the steady decrease in capacity and power a perfect match for the steady decrease in reaction times and general ability to cope with said power Until.... I was thinking more like one of those friction drive bicycles like this 32cc autocycle.
