  1. Your pain is felt in shed loads but hopefully I can help.
I recently discovered RH Insurance (Now Howdens) My two bikes and my classic car , fully comprehensive but on limited (1500 mile per annum) mileage has comne in at £406. Yes, £406 for three vehicles including european breakdown and recovery.
Well worth talking to as they are all very nice people to deal with.

    Good luck

  2. Sounds like you’re having a fun time. Hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of the issue, and you can get back to normal.

  3. It reduces the amount of acid and then there is less acid in the stomach.
It alleviates the burning from stomach up and into your mouth.

  4. My moans are trivial compared to other stuff here:

Went to Specsavers for the DVLA sight test today. The DVLA didn't even let me get out of the house, to tell me that I must get a GP appointment.

"You just don't realise that these wanker doctors just sit on their arse all day waiting for the DVLA to rescue them with a nonsense appointment" it said, or some such. I've really annoyed someone there.

I thought that after I was put to massive inconvenience in 2020, having to do sight tests and then the DVLA driving assessment. after being banned by them. I came through all that shit and got my license back in 2020. I thought that was the end of their shit, but I was wrong. Five years later it has all started again. Fortunately, I don't work, so I have time to waste on their shit, but I am very, very close to throwing in the towel, I just do not need this shit in my life!

  5. I suffer from a condition called Barretts Oesophagus and am on Esomeprazole for life. I have had numerous Endoscopies and would always recommend sedation rather than throat spray. One time I gagged for 15 minutes with a tube as big as your index finger stuck down my throat; Never Again!!

  6. Cant say I'm thrilled by any of this. Especially as I've been relatively fit all my life. This getting old business is shit.

  8. Seems like its a jack of all trades!

"lansoprazole is a medication commonly prescribed specifically to protect the stomach lining from damage caused by other medicines, particularly non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen or naproxen, and antiplatelet drugs like aspirin. "

  13. It’s been raining here for the last 4 hours and the rain has just now turned to snow. Had hoped to jack up the heating but the server is still down  Thank you Cloudfare. A new, standalone manual thermostat has been ordered. Andy

  15. The other day I rang my housebuilder's customer service contact and asked whether they'd fix this for me as a favour or if not whether they could get me someone to do it and I'd pay them. Anyway first thing I had a call from the builders customer service dept saying they'll send a joiner and a decorator to fix the damage FOC. Job jobbed.

As the saying goes "Shy bairns get nowt" :)

Now I've just got to stop the pups damaging stuff!!
