I could say the same about that book, but I won't!

 

From the sublime to the ridiculous and which is which would depend on your own liking.

 

Getting stuck into this magnum opus....It's a big 'un!
Should see me into the new year, or possibly the next...

I don't often read biographies/autobiographies. However, quite enjoying this that a mate has lent me.

 

Defiance Til Death, Robery L Arnold
An American poet and writer, really digs into the history and current woes of American society, illuminating and moving.

 

I'm about to start his new book, The Long Shoe.

 

As much as I like Bobs comedic repartee
I made the mistake of reading this first followed by his novel The Satsuma Complex
the plot of which is ruined by all the ‘facts’ used in his autobiography.

 

I'm 1/2 way through this at the moment and really enjoying it:

 

Having finished his autobiography, I wouldn't rush to buy/read another of his books.
