Just changing the subject slightly, I understand that it is not wise to occasionally start a bike (or car) in saay the winter time because it can do more damage. Having said that, the desire to hear an engine is sometimes irresistible and I do start both my bike and my car periodically. Am I being a muppet and should I refrain? I tend to allow them to get to working temperature if that's any excuse!!
Not on an air cooled engine! During the winter months I occasionally enjoy spreading the love to my neighbours by letting it tick over until the needle reads 100’c
Had a text from Biketrac to say my battery was running low, so put the bike on charge. I was only out on it a couple of weeks ago, so guess the Li-ion battery doesn't like cold weather.
Might be the tracker draining the battery. My last bike with a tracker (dealer fit option) s1000xr used to flatten its lead acid battery in a couple of weeks in winter if not used or left on trickle charger. My DesertX lithium holds its charge for a lot longer but it doesn’t have a battery connected tracker fitted. Could be anything really but without a constant drain lithiums tend to be good at holding a charge. You just need them warmed up before starting an engine off them.
Are serious? Never ridden the track but been there a few times to watch testing. There isn't a house for miles; perhaps the Olives were dropping off the trees
Now the leaf blower is sorted I have now commenced replacing all my screen and fairing nuts and weld nuts with a nice new set.
I really do need to pay more attention to my sentence structure in future but your comment made me laugh. Weld nuts are not as easy to remove as I thought!!
I ran a Panigale V4 with full race system with no issues. Never heard of being pulled for a noisy drive by. Almeria is in the middle of nowhere. I feel your disappointment. Andy
