  1. you have every reason afaic and i am much the same.

  2. If as you surmise, that's a bargain and a half. We’ve got 2 Icons in the family and they are an absolute hoot to scratch around on. Not too sure about the 2,000 miles in 10 days up to and around Scotland we did earlier this year :joy: Andy

  3. I think it's been for sale for a while now.
But obviously he's not bothered otherwise he'd have taken some better pictures of it.

  4. First off, I have to explain that I have no intension of buying another bike at this stage, but we all like to look don’t we.

Browsing Ebay late last night to see if there was anything interesting for sale locally I found the following which perhaps I’d buy if I had space and didn’t have other priorities at the moment

I am strangely drawn to this, it’s gorgeous, in great condition, rare, would be great fun to potter round on, would go on the back of our Motorhome well, but is a lot of money for what it is. I’ve never seen one before:

Then blow me there is a 90cc version again within 10miles.
It’s at a dealer and more money, but I love the look.

SSL Auto are good guys that always have a very varied stock list.
Look through their other auctions and you’ll see what I mean, everything from custom choppers to recent(ish) superbikes.

I had a ‘A What’? moment with this one having never heard of them:

But from a couple of reviews I read they appear to be a lot of bike for the money.

But the one I was desperately trying not to arrange to go and look at was another from SSL:

This would be so much fun for the money.

If the weather is nice enough for a potter around on Friday I might drop in to SSL for a quick look around, which I tend to do every few months anyway.

  5. this might be cat amongst the pigeon time, but if that has the original air cooled two-stroke in it, then I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole..

    each to their own, obviously.

  6. One of the pictures shows a water temperature gauge Chris but I take your point. Andy

  7. Looks very clean Chris.

Yes I can see it, but only whilst editing my post or whilst quoting yours.
