Hi guys. Does anyone know or point me in the direction of bike rentals in Italy, preferably in the South. I know I should/could take my Multistrada but due to time restrictions it’s not really feasible. Any input will be much appreciated…
Having had a bad experience recently with an Italian car company cancelling our car hire and forcing us to hire a second one, I’d use a large well known reputable company for bikes, if one exists.
I have hired from these people twice. (Hyperstrada and S1000R). I picked up in Milan. Bikes were well maintained. Not cheap! https://www.hpmotorrad.rentals/en/ They appear to have collection points in Rome and Naples
I ended up combining a bike trip in Italy with some time in the US right after, and sorting transport in both places got tricky. For anyone doing something similar, I used miami car service once I landed in Florida, made that part of the trip way easier. In Italy, I found that booking through local shops by email got me better prices than using big rental platforms.
