  2. What no hat for some cash? What’s the world coming to!

  3. The 'ammer an' Fred is nice but I loathe both the unit 350/500s earlier than about '68 (I believe, when they returned to a timing side ball race instead of the plain phosphor-bronze). And hate the bathtub!

Despite having greatly enjoyed a '67 Daytona.

  9. For years I used to send my then next door but one neighbours a Christmas card addressed to "Jessie and Colin", only for Jessie to one day point out to me that Colin was in fact their dog. She did tell me her husband's name but I've forgotten it.

  16. Most London bridges are so old and decrepit they can't take the weight of buses anymore?

  17. I think one or two hinted at it - the "palace" entrance has "cardboard cut-outs" put in place to obscure the ugly reconstruction work being carried out.

This lady could possibly fill you in (no smut please)

    T140V (750 Bonneville) 'Bluebird'

As found while looking for Malcolm Campbell's Blue Bird that did 301.337 mph at Bonneville in 1935, with a V12 Rolls-Royce aero engine.
