My 2018 1200s has always been great, 13,000 miles, not missed a beat. I thought the clutch lever felt different, slightly stiffer at first but seemed to settle down. I have short levers so perhaps this made it more obvious I'm not sure, the fluid looks fine, the clutch operates as before, it just feels different, no slipping, just odd. Is this a sign that something is wearing or needs replacing. I'm no mechanic so any help is useful.
Heavier, The levers are years old, a bit more effort needed but it seems fine after a while, someone suggested the fluid has picked up moisture, it was changed a year ago as part of a service, fluid levels are right and it looks clean, it still rides ok.
https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/oberon-clutch-slave-fitted.49483/ This (below) shows you how to change one, but the removal/refit process if pretty easy. I’m no mechanic (trust me!) and I did it. Understand if you’re not confident though.
Dunno if it helps, but if I haven't ridden in a while my clutch always seems stiff at first. It's genuinely due to a loss of grip strength.
