  1. Have fitted the termi slip ons only recently. Was advised by many would need an upmap, although decided t9 see first. Only managed a quick run 10minseverything seemed fine. Only managed sunday to get a proper run in when initially 40mins there everything seemed fine, on startup on way back started getting a huge flat spot under 4000 rpm and suddenly surged when hitting those revs! Made for a dodgy ride back as it seemed quite rough. Dont know if this is down to needing the upmap orsome other gremlins. Interested to hear of any other experiences.
    Thanks

  2. That sounds similar to when a MAP sensor fails. A diagnostic check will help confirm.
I’d still advise a proper remap too. From my own experience I wouldn’t bother with the official upmap, just find a local tuner.

  3. Others will know WAY more than me but one of the things you might find is that over time riding it and as it switches onto ‘hot’ fuel maps, it can’t adjust itself fuelling wise to get ‘into range’ for the lambdas as I think they are narrowband.

also pretty sure the exhaust valve is now off an the bike is expecting than in the stock map and that will mess it up below 4k revs. I think the exhaust valve is open after that even on stock map.

cheapest way to get it mapped is probably by an ‘UpMap’ dongle, not the Ducati one but the app one you can buy, they are pretty good by all accounts. Deffo rule out other issues first like water in fuel and all the other basics that can cause issues
