  10. Thank you folks, can anyone suggest a good supplier for all things fuel pump overhaul related in the uk?

  11. it will get debated but Wemoto certainly did supply a perfectly useable fuel pump for yours, but EBay also have many suppliers, but they change frequently so can't recommend just one. I have bought and fitted 6 upwards via EBay over the years, and never had a faulty one despite them being a fraction of the O.E.M. items.

Pirtek is a good supplier when it comes to submersible fuel hose, and they have many branches throughout the UK.

There are online suppliers also if you don't want to travel, and details of these will be along soon. :upyeah:

  12. Hi Chris

Thank you for that, I guess I will have to buy all the parts from different suppliers then. Wemoto have the pump but not the filters or o ring . As you suggested back to ebay.

  13. there are many many more alternatives out there Richard, I'm just a little rusty, I think a few people will come up with better suggestions. when it comes to filters, sometimes original equipment is best from Ducati dealers et cetera. Stein Dinse get mentioned quite a lot.

  14. Pump if you need a new one has the Bosch part number written on it. Type that on interweb. Buy it from Ducati you will pay three times the price. Hoses that are E10 resistant can be found on E-bay and such like, you will have to cut the length yourself. A pattern filter ,gauze and short hook shape pipe are harder to find. Large O ring not that cheap!

  15. I just bought the correct Cohline 2190 hose off the bay...this was the best price I found online.

Also if your fuel pump isn't spinning up...(they can seize if left dry). I once revived one by spraying lubricant inside, powering it up and quickly whacking it on the bench to free it up. ;)
