Second best Yamaha rider will be a good debut season…best Yamaha rider, outstanding. Anything else is just a noise with regards 2027. Pirelli have already said the design of the new MGP tyre will be completely different to the one they supply in wsb currently too.
Yamaha will be desperate to give TR everything he asks for to propel him to top Yamaha rider. Let’s face it, their best rider FQ finished ninth in 2025 and I am sure TR will beat that in 2026. A top five 2026 championship standing would then really set him up for further glory in 2027 followed by any ride he wanted in 2028.
