Yep, computers mis read number plates regularly. I rocked up at a pre paid airport car park once and the barrier wouldn’t lift to let me in. When I hit the ‘assist’ button the bloke explained that the computer was reading a zero instead of the letter O. That same morning on my way there, I was double flashed by a speed camera on the M1. I was doing 112mph and I never heard anything more. I’m guessing the speed camera misread my number plate too. Thank fuck!!
Given the size of the woman in the bus lane wearing the T shirt understandable mistake. Smaller front end on a Transit van.
