Make an offer, they are never misinterpreted. There's a price in the description, so that is the fair price you mentioned -no?
My 2019 Monster 1200S had a complete failure of the rear brake. One minute it was fine, the next no brake at all. I think there was a recall in the US where the requirements are much more strict. It was suggested by Ducati in the UK that it was a gradual failure, not for me it wasn't. Although out of warranty it was done FOC. New hoses fitted, I was told that it was a failure caused by heat from the rear cylinder exhaust. Best bike I've ever owned. You wont be disappointed.
Cheers for that. Good to know. It's similar on the Diavel, rear brake was open for a 'technical upgrade' on some bikes only. No general recall but on some Diavels the rear had to be bled multiple times, if that happened to you you had to make a claim and it would be sorted at the dealership. Luckily mine is unaffected.
Yeah I didn't see the price, still can't see one and all I read was open to offers, you might be surprised at what I'm asking or something like that, so I was just trying to establish a rough idea of what he wanted. Sometimes online misunderstandings happen as people interpret others' meanings differently. It was all ok in the end, I explained I hadn't meant to offend, I was just waffling on about how much I was looking to spend on a 1200s, so my fault I suppose. Anyway, it's a lovely bike, but about a grand above my budget.
