@DoveG where in Scotland are you? I'm in Forfar, 15 miles north of Dundee. Here's a wiring diagram that might be of use to you. I also suggest this wiring mod, fitting a relay to power the ignition directly so that the supply doesn't need to go through the ignition switch, kill switch and all the many connectors in-between.
Thanks for that Derek, I live near Haddington just a couple of miles from East Fortune racetrack. Any electrical advice is greatly appreciated as I admit to having very average skills in that department.
