Reasons For....

  1. agree, 125 4 stroke wouldn't suit me overall but two-stroke (water cooled) is plenty (33 brake) but ultimately not as reliable.

  2. aye, that is a lot. i bet your 390 is no heavier than my 125 (lads, but i bought it, so i'm keeping it)
i've been thinking of going smaller for a long while, im keeping the fugly but taking dizzy turns at 100mph+ over the last several years doesn't really appeal. tho saying that, i took the 848 out for a quick run last month to dry it off, i flicked it about like i hadn't done before, so, what to do. what to do. mostly wait and see where i am next year i guess.

  3. i guess i could get a lowering kit and gear up the crf. that pops wheelies off the throttle as is and then just sell the Aprilia. feck me, talk about more is less. just make a fugging decision fin.

  4. I know just what you mean. I haven't any plans to sell my Gofaster Monster at all.

  5. DRZ E, DS or SM?

The DRZ is a great bike, my Son loves his especially as it is the E version and his has both wheel sets.

You'll pay more for a genuine SM as they are generally in better condition as they're mostly been looked after having not been off road.

I've ridden his a few times and is surprisingly spritely for a bike of only around 40 hp.

Although the Supercity looks a nice bike and it seems a pity that it's a box of bits.

Build the Cagiva to partially fund the DRZ if not fully?

  6. Tried several DRsss over the years, very happy with them but they often come with wrong tyres for me. Prefer a Supercity all day long, but bound to go "bang" in a shorter time than DR. :upyeah:

  7. Prefer them in SM flavour but they have to be something all weather, how my Son can ride on his Rossos in the wet and cold is still a mystery to me.

We're going Green Laning eventually but the wheel swap will be very temporary.

  8. something i like/want to do more is exploring off piste. i've covered most roads 100 times. but there is a bazilion little tracks and forestry roads near where i like to park up over night that an take you to all sorts of awesome places.

  9. Sounds great and you ought to do it for sure. Hard to find anywhere like that around here now, i can remember many 50 years ago.

  10. Same here. All around here there are trails and its why i bought the spoked wheels and Scorpion tyres.
