    The pedant in me is left wondering whether he won’t go a penny less than £2,500 or £2,250 though.

  14. Wandered up the end of our garden this morning to empty the kitchen Compost waste bin into the main compost heap and found we've got our first snowdrops of the year out.

    And by the look of it I need to do some weeding and leaf clearing right up that end rather than concentrate on nearer the house like I have been.

  16. Yep, I'll just be taking them off the grassed areas.
    I leave them on the beds to mulch down as a bit of protection for the early bulbs that come up like these snowdrops and Crocuses.
    Any I take off the grass I put on the veg beds to rot down before digging them in before we start putting this years crop in.
