The campsite 'Podere Sei Poorte' (known as "P6P") is a lovely place. It's in the hilly countryside, so expect the sounds of cuckoo birds in the morning and in the evening fireflies lighting up the bushes as you stagger back from the restaurant. And as stated, the food is flippen amazing, and it attracts really friendly guests. It is popular, so to avoid disappointment I would recommend booking well in advance! You'll love the local twisty roads, trips into Tavullia, and if you fancy there are some lovely rides to towns like Urbino, Gubbio, San Marino... There is also a Eurospin grocery store about 20 minutes away, great for sourcing local wines & beers at bargain prices! Enjoy your holiday!
ok so its quite cheap - how far is it to whereever wdw is? is there even an address for the wdw place?
I'd say less than 40 minutes on a bike! But I guess you'll need to factor in some extra 'event' traffic near to the circuit.
That’s a good price actually. One just needs to get a cheap flight and then one only needs one’s summer riding gear, not the 3 seasons stuff that would have to be taken if one were to ride all the way there.
ok so for anyone flying ignore this advice https://www.docgb.org/world-ducati-week the closest airport by far is rimini and theres a very cheap direct flight from heathrow
so accomodation pre-booked just in case anyone is looking - about 700 eur for 4 nights https://www.hoteliberty.com/ i have also pre booked an air b n b in cattolica which is about 6km ride from the circuit - about 600 eur 4 nights
Iv booked a weeks stay half board in hotel vanni in misano, iv stayed several times and find them 1st class and family run. Also franki chili has several apartments he rents out.
What's the craic re wdw tickets? To be honest id probably go to the circuit on the Saturday and if I needed to then look at Sunday, later in the week possibly ducati factory tour and then the two ferrari museum's.
Figured I’d throw this out there. I’m heading to World Ducati Week 2026 and decided to put together a small travel group for anyone who wants to go but doesn’t feel like planning all the logistics themselves. Long story short, I ended up starting a travel company because a bunch of DOC folks kept asking if I could organize something. So now I’m hosting a trip for WDW2026. The cities are Milan → Bologna → Rimini. Hotels, transport, some excursions. WDW is the main event of course. Not selling anything here, just letting people know it exists. If you want details, dates, or pricing, I can share. Not everyone has the time to piece together flights, hotels, and all that, so this might help someone. If you’re already going, awesome — would love to meet up at the event. If you’re thinking about going but not sure where to start, feel free to ask. — Kris VoyageTravelCo.com (just info if anyone needs it)
This year will be 100th anniversary of Ducati so it’s will be worth going, as for me this will be my 1st WDW and really looking forward to it. Flights and hotel booked.
