Yeah. I snapped it off at the gum line and it healed over. I got an abscess on the other side of my jaw a few months ago which I was leaving to heal by itself but I was advised that they can kill you, so I went to the dentist. She was quite disobliging about my hamfisted have-a-go handiwork, but reckoned it would be ok now the gum has grown over it.
Just about to shower and my phone rings. It's the local surgery, so I answer. "We need you to come in for an appointment." "Why?" "I don't know why, but Dr Slashem (not really) has told me to make an appointment for you as the DVLA have demanded it." Here we go again. It is for a few weeks time as I have the bare-assed cheek to be going to Plymouth soon. I just knew in my bones that the DVLA are not finished with me. Another reason not to buy anything, even sub £4000.
first one over (yay!) Felt a bit sorry for the chap, caught in an endless rut of violence and theft, he did go down. Lucked in with my 11 "mates", not sure the next one will go so smoothly.
It's been all go here. I put an EV charger plug holder/wall mount on the side of the house, and screwed up tightly the legs to my dining table. Then I had my second online therapy session.......told the therapist I think he's searching for someone who's broken after a traumatic event or someone in danger of topping themselves and I'm not that person. He's gone away to think about what I said. So I don't think I'll be having many more of these sessions
Following my redundancy (what a lovely call to get on the first day of your winter holidays eh?) at the end of last year, I've shifted all of my focus to a personal project I've been working on for a few years and over the past several months, it's gotten to a stage of 'production' ready. With this week wrapping up for a live run of my system next week. I'm pretty proud of it and am now very much looking forward to this year as it feels like a new chapter at the mid point in life. Got a grin from ear to ear, so today I'm having a little celebration at home
Physio day yesterday, had the appointment, he asked a few random questions, asked what I had done, and how it happened, then took some measurements of the total movement in my elbow, advised on some exercises to do, although he never actually had me do any whilst I was there, then made another appointment for 5th feb
Played the most fun squash we've played in probably 6 months. I've been stretching like crazy every day and it's helping loads. Lost 8-1 over 2hrs of playing to my 18 year old son, but every single game was a tie break, a couple went up past 16..great, great fun. Hope the pain isn't too bad tomorrow
Going out tonight with friends for the third Saturday night in a row................Hoping to get in before 4am as we have a family/birthday lunch tomorrow
"third Saturday in a row" "4am" i hope you haven't been necking those NAD tablets Terry - not sure how you are doing this, but Enjoy.
