Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Tim Hunt, Jul 2, 2024.

  1. Hello out there

Can anyone tell me the torque settings for the front calliper bolts on the 2020 Panigale V4 25th anniversario as I have just purchased the bike and am in the process of fitting carbon brake scoops as well as some other add-ons, your help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

  2. 43nm and remember to grease the bolt threads. Andy

  5. Thread moved

  6. DO NOT grease threads on brake calliper bolts, IF THESE COME LOSE YOUR IN BIG TROUBLE, a small dot of low strength lock tight is required.

  7. I don't agree.
Although I don't have the same bike, I have 4 other Ducatis with radial calipers and the workshop manual states to apply a smear of grease to the threads.
I have done this multiple times and never had an issue.

  8. Grease on caliper mounting bolts, blue threadlock on disk mounting bolts. :upyeah:

  10. In fact if the OP had read the service manual....or even google, probably wouldn't of needed to post this, just saying!

  11. This reply has just landed in my post, it would appear the thread has been moved by a staff member recently although I posted it in July 2024 and the calliper bolts are all sorted now thanks and yes I probably could have read the manual first, but I was just shouting out to all Ducati enthusiasts in this forum for advice, just saying
