(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

  1. I’m a fair bit older than you but not as ancient as Andy. I simply cannot find any joy riding anything unless it’s a real sports bike. I do include good nakeds in this, like the 765 obvs.
Also, for me, sports bikes are the most comfortable. You can stick your adventure bikes up yer arse!

  4. High bars and low pegs for the 65 year old body.
212 bhp for the 18 year old brain.
    Job sorted.

  5. Today i fitted a load of Ti bolts to replace the high tensile ones fitted to the engine mounts.
I can save more weight blowing my nose but they do look nice.

  6. As @Expat Jack was kind enough to point out, I was 72 last week, I haven’t ridden a Panigale for about 4 years now but does my V4 Pikes Peak make me feel any less of a rider ? That’ll be a no from me and nor does the Multistrada 1200 I ride on track nor my cheeky little Scrambler Icon that I scratch on when I want to be a hooligan :joy: Screw sexy, sod cool, just enjoy to the best of your ability whatever it is you choose to ride :D Andy

  9. Have you ridden a Hypermotard 939 or 950...?

  10. No, I would need a pair of Elton John's old boots to touch the floor

  11. I'm 6' with 31" inside leg & I can flat-foot my 939. Yes - it'd be an issue if your dimensions are less. Shame to miss out on the Hyper fun tho'...

  12. Removed a lot of dirty/manky bits to get to this and check the camchain (my mate said "hey, I reckon my engine's a bit noisy"). Bloody cam cover is Magnesium alloy so I'll have to prep & paint that too... That's the trouble when you take things apart that had a few years of hard (unloved) life :poop:

  19. Modified some carbon bellmouths as the carburettor spacing is a tad small

  20. Not being critical or anything but is there a proper name for that shape of intake? Perhaps 'intake doughnut'?

This is what I'd say is a bell-mouth intake shape
