  1. Just received notification that Silverstone is open for business, first date is 20th April, GP circuit, 3 groups, timed sessions and priced at £329. Andy

  2. What? But surely they said no more bikes. Have they relented? What is going to be different from their previous offering that wasn’t working for them?

  3. The circuit was closed for filming what's his face for the film F1 but they said "the plan" was to start bike track days at some stage. Andy

  4. £329 before you’ve spent a penny on tyres fuel food travel etc…?!!!
You could have a nice week away on some quiet roads away from idiots for that kind of dough lol.
Such an inclusive past time, not.

  5. Full decat ? If yes, more than likely you’ll not pass the static or ride-by. The last Ducati day was, IIRC, 108db but local council demands have changed since then. There’s been a huge amount if residential and commercial development. Andy

  6.
    I thought as much, thanks.
Last time I was discussing this issue with a noise tester at Donington, our conversation was interrupted by a DHL cargo plane coming into land :confounded:.
I find it difficult to reconcile Northamptonshire's highly successful "motorsport valley" (jobs, local economy, engineering skills etc,) and local councils stymying the real-world use of the industry by end-users.

  7. 105 static at 7500rpm. mental
