I’ve got eyes on a nice one. 2008, 5k miles on the clock, one owner, GP7 and 17” dymag rear. Valve clearance service done and apparently a recall job done on tank? Anything in particular I should look out for. In terms of annual service cost - what should I allow for? Who do you guys insure with and what’s the annual premium? Any advice appreciated!!
This, @Dave, tags a long time D16RR owner on the forum and he should be able to give you advice. My memory is telling me, a few early models had a piston recall and a throttle body recall. Andy
Assume you are planning to ride it if purchased? I'm going to put mine on the market soon. Never ridden mine as it's artwork in my house so can't answer insurance questions. But have had it maintained and not really anymore expensive than new stuff (generally). There is something relating to throttle sticking open which I'd recommend you get checked out.
