We are stopping in Wuppertal on the way back from WDW.

 

Friedrich Engels, associate of Karl Marx, came from Wuppertal. Or rather Barmen, in the North-East part of Wuppertal. He is memorialised with a statue in a park, on the banks of the River Wupper.

I think he's probably stolen an idea from Fred and Barney. I've never seen this before and I think it's a lovely concept, but where does he store everything let alone cook it? Hot dogs, beef burgers and hot pies.

If the picture is genuine, it would be 1964 (ish) and I can remember so pretty disgusting catering coats being worn by food sellers at that time. Andy
