  1. Who knows, I suppose it's possible the alternator was taken out by a faulty rectifier or vice-versa?

    My Guzzi was a simple, age-related failure, it's 47 years old - rectifier still working though...

  3. 899 runs the later type reg/rec, which is mosfet as are most of the bikes now. No issues with lead acid batteries

  6. I don't, hence the caveat. Fortunately Nelly is not AI generated.

    Still leaves jase having to figure out why his stator is goosed though.

  7. Most definitely, and a common reason for alternator failure on older models due to poor choice of wire and block connector quality but same logic applies to a Panigale. It's very unlikely to be a wrong choice of battery issue.

  8. Just asking, have you checked the battery voltage while the engine is running?
     
  9. Yeah, it slowly drops until engine cuts out due to low voltage.
