I had a phone call from Ducati in Italy a couple of weeks ago asking if I was still interested in a new V4 Panigale after hiring the V4s for half a day at last years trackday, I said no, I was sticking with my PP, perhaps I should have said yes and so be put on the nice list.
I always remember meeting ElToro at the MotoGp a few years back....(quite a few years back) he had one of those passes that the celeb's get round his neck....i asked him "can we come in then?" -pointing at the enclosure.... "i dont think so..." - only for the rich and famous!! Funnily enough we got the same treatment at the BMW enclosure at the TT a couple of years back too....get turned away from all the best places i do...! Got my collar felt half way up the stairs to the grandstand also... Seems you have to pay...

confirmed i'm booked onto this, before applying the code that Ducati gave me the cost came through initially at £998!!!!! Anyone else booked onto it? Details for riding experience on a v4r: Choose if you would like the extra: a private half-day riding experience on a Panigale V4R, available as either all morning sessions or all afternoon sessions. These sessions will be led by professional instructors Dario Marchetti and Manuel Poggiali. The cost for this experience is £699. I haven't taken them up on this!
