  1. Just moved the bike after working on the clutch and many other winter jobs, probably been stored in its position for about 6 months. Anyway there on the floor under the bike was this part, I don't recognise it and certainly didn't take it off, Do any of you ducati gurus recognise this part?

  2. Doesn't look like anything I've seen on a 916 plus, it's so clean/unmarked and so doesn't look like it's been tightened up into anything.

    I'd say it's a stranger.

  3. It's a grub screw, normally used for locking something onto a shaft.
Digging deep into my memory to work out where it may have come from on a 916.

  4. That looks very much like a grub screw that would be used to keep a bearing in place on a shaft, don't think it's anything off a bike

  5. Could it be from a clutch hub tool?

  6. They are pretty hard so would put quite a mark on whatever it was screwed into/ onto

  7. Tyre valve cap?

  8. Looks like a grub screw possibly from a tool.

  9. Yes it's a grub screw, but unless you've got teeny tiny hands it's rather a large example. Far too large to have come off a bike in my opinion.
