Saw that these were being deployed this week. Almost bumped into this lost delivery bot on the way back from the pub!
Collected my first lot of contact lenses; let the fun begin… And have been investigating how I can replace the drive mode selector on the car without resorting to paying the £243 the dealer wants.
When I did mine, turned out the big 55mm socket for the rear wheel nut on my Ducati also fit the nut holding the flush mechanism onto the cistern. What luck!
At the County Classics Motor Museum in Torton. Really good and I will post pictures next week, when I am home. Trying to post pictures from my phone is just trouble. Coffee is good too!
Just been over to my dear old mother’s place with a gift and flowers. Today is her 88th year on this crazy planet. Family get together this evening at a local Tapas joint.
A very productive day. A mate came around and helped me replace two leisure batteries in the campervan. I thought Duracell were expensive but these were another level £482 for the pair, mind you they weigh 48kg each ! Then gave the grass it's first little cut this year, followed by lunch. The eyes felt heavy sitting on the sofa, a nap may have happened. Dry and double figures so a wondrous two hours out on my superlight . A nice day so far.
Went to the mooring , changed the dehumidifier tablets, cleaned boat, replaced the cutlass bearing on my boat neighbours boat, got the batteries off to charge at home and now I’m waiting to start the next homebrew batch that’s ready to drink.
If you havent done so already you should take a trip south of the river to his home - Downe House. It’s an interesting place and can be combined with a nice pint at a pub in Downe and/or a visit to the Heritage Hanger in Biggin Hill. Or trip slightly further and go see Churchills place. Plenty of nice stuff around for a day in the area. If you find some change down the back of the sofa -get on a cruise/small boat trip around the Galapagos- a fabulous trip with great snorkelling. Really brings Darwin stuff to life. Did it a few years back, via Quito etc
