What are they like for servicing price-wise? They're the nearest official dealer to me and mine will be coming due in May so I need to get booked in.
I'll let you know when I get the bill on Monday........but there is a "Ducati Standard Charging Schedule" as I understand it.
I got refused entry to a nightclub in Sunderland for visible tattoos in 2004......wtf, it's Sunderland
I was asked if I had a dangerous weapon on me by the bouncers.........when I said no they gave me a machete before I went inside
Its a shithole. But it was a great night out in the nineties, all the barmaids dancing on the bar in bikinis in Idols. They will all be grandmothers now
You could live in fucking afghanistan...some bloke turns up to pick your bike up to service it....thing of dreams that is...
Tested the SXV post clutch sprag bearing replacement....nipped down to fowlers before it started raining....again...all good. Started on the button.
Been clearing dads home this week after he passed away last month. Today I put up in my bike store some of the memorabilia he’d kept from me racing He’d kept every race program that he’d come & supported me at (well over 100 meetings) I threw them away but put the one of me on the front of the program up in a frame. Best memories of my dad were our weekends away racing.
I insisted my OCD mate service it, and he even washed it for me in his own time.............I knew he would. I'm not fucking daft
Discovered that a Ducati Multistrada V4 righthand mirror has a reverse thread. And it's a massive M10 steel bolt into delicate alu. Why? (To annoy me - I know.) Also discovered the bodge to try and stop the water pooling in said thread/bolt - by using a (now rusty) spacer to keep the drain hole clear. Is that really the standard build, or did the last owner bodge it?
