A bit random, but this story tickled me. It's an interesting read and, even though I wouldn't personally sell my bike in the first place, haha, I do relate to the love he has for his 900SS. Just thought I'd share. Would any of you buy a bike back, twice?!
If anyone who reads the story is inspired... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15742954...E/7Vp/vyg/CBO42rLxKTpZUFQ=|tkp:Bk9SR-aH7KWTZw
Can't say I would. The fire starter Cortina was funny. You're not having a bike lad ,but it's ok to crash into petrol pumps.
Neighbour has one, he's the second owner bought back in the early eighties, his Son is currently renovating it.
Enjoyed reading that, nice one for sharing.. Similar but not a Ducati.. we bought our old VW campervan back last year... sold it in 2008, never thought I would cross paths with it again.
You read this and think: « I will never sell my most favorite bikes »... It’s a really nice feeling, having the privilege to own those amazing Ducati twins.
Couple of old bikes I would buy back, but there was always a good reason why they were sold at the time. Would love my first 50cc back, bought new from Palin’s Honda, utter shite really, but have that back in a heartbeat
Crazy story, selling the 900SS and buying it back twice really shows how special that bike is, can’t blame him for holding onto it!
