  1. WSBK had the same problem, Bulega was wearing a plain black helmet

  3. There is a story about how Aprilia have revealed that their fairing has an F1 style F-Duct thus giving them a straight line speed advantage. They taped it over during the tests and took the tape off today now everyone's aero is locked down (homologated ?) so it's too late for the others to copy it.

Hoping this is a new story :upyeah:

  6. Missing something here, mentioning who

  7. Couldn’t possibly say especially as posts get deleted quicker than the Chinese internet round here (with no rhyme or reason).

  8. Quarter of a million spectators there this weekend *apparently.

No idea where they were all hiding.

  9. Has someone died I haven’t heard about?
    Gav and Hodgson seem inconsolable.

Well done Bez lovely stuff. Decent points for Pedro this weekend too.

  10. Another cracking race. Plenty overtakes and incidents, with no known injuries :upyeah:

  11. Re “the puncture”
The curbs are even worse/severe at Adelaide I’ve seen pics of the Aussie supercars bouncing off them, so it won’t just be “a few trees and buildings” they’ll need to consider if they intend to race there next year.

  12. Just finished the moto 3 race, superb.
Good to see COG up the sharp end for most of it too.

  13. Toprak is there to learn the circuits for 2027 and IMO, nothing more than that. One thing for sure, his physique is currently not helping him settle on an unfamiliar bike nor can he add much to the development of the bike for the other three much smaller and much lighter riders. How close is Yamaha to defaulting if FQ, JM and AR decide to break their contracts ? Andy

  14. Anyone can learn a track in an hour or so on the PlayStation/sim. It’s only 7 or 8 left and right corners (roughly) isn’t it? Without simplifying the skill of getting round it.

Any data he collects will obviously be irrelevant next year and how’s someone his size going to fare on an even smaller bike?

Hodgson mentioned “no one knoooows” what’s going to happen next year but you’ve got a fair idea where you’d hedge your bets going on the last decade or so in manufacturers results and decision making.

Yamaha would be plum last in this house.

  15. The money it must have cost them to develop that v4 too :eyes:

  16. I could listen to him all day. Very intelligent, respectful and doesn’t sit on fences, a bit like casey stoner who I couldn’t listen to all day.

    Funny isn’t it.
