Remco wins his first two races for Bora at Challenge Mallorca. Led the team to time trial victory yesterday and the solo race today. Lovely boy.
One of the worst crashes I’ve ever seen in cycling where someone’s managed to walk away in the alulu tour yesterday. 100kph plus on the speedo, huge wide straight ish downhill road so no real reason to crash. Three riders came down and one of the riders (I think it was Laurence Rex) was pretty much naked and covered head to toe in road rash, crying while walking 100s of metres back up the road to collect his bike. I think it was picnic post nl who were training with *new air bag technology over the winter about time they took some tech from us lot in that respect imo.

Start of the one day classics season this weekend with Omloop Saturday and Kuurne Brussels Kuurne on Sunday
Mvdp wins the Omloop at the first time of asking and barely breaking a sweat. Lots of crashes on wet cobbles.
Superb afternoon at the Kuurne Brussel Kuurne. Matthew Brennan taking it for Visma in the sprint beating JP and the like. Spent most of the day at the front of the peloton and looked fucked at the Omloop yesterday too. What a talent.
"On the last lap, there was suddenly glass on the road," Van Aert told Sporza after the finish. "That smells like sabotage." https://www.domestiquecycling.com/e...after-glass-causes-puncture-in-comeback-race/
