Hi, one for the moderators - I guess? For reasons unknown to me I can no longer log in to the mobile (iPhone) forum app using my user name and password. When I get to input this data I am being asked to validate the account by making a payment of £0.00 using Apple Pay. Is this correct or a scam? cheers
Hi, I can access and navigate the app via a google search without signing in but if I do that it is read only and lots of adverts - I am a subscriber.
It's UK laws around age verification I expect. The £0.00 fee is verify you have a credit card and therefore =>18 years old.

I have logged in fine from my iPhone what I did notice is there is an advert to verify your account which is nothing to do with this forum!!
I have 2 phones. I tried to log back in on the other one. The page comes up but is immediately blanked out by a full page advert which i can't get rid of so can't even access the site without logging in
When my subs ran out last week the adverts were crazy. They kept over taking I quickly managed to press account upgrades before another advert went over the top of my drop down list.
If the ads are so bad on the subscription renewal page that its hard to pay -something surely should be changed? 1. I really think that we should be able to renew before our subscription expires. Sometime within a seven day window would be fine. 2. No ads whatsoever on the sign up/ sign in page. Especially if these are leading to members being scammed of money and possibly personal information @El Toro @Ducbird @Rob
