I am now the proud owner of a 999 Mono which I am going to need a lot of help with. Bittersweet story as it was previously owned by a very good friend who recently passed away and his family wanted me to give it a forever home ...which I will. I have owned well over 100 bikes over the years, most recently MV Agusta F4RR and Yamaha Super Tenere, but never a Ducati. I have also ridden a lot of road and track bikes. All I have done so far with the 999 is to ride it home, get it MOT'd and then to follow the hearse at the funeral .... and initial impression is mixed. I found it surprisingly comfortable but almost impossible to ride slowly due to heavy clutch and it cutting out on idle a few times. I have lots of questions but will start new threads on those.
