1299 Extra,s On A 1299s, Compaired To A 1299

  1. HI, apart from electronic ohlins on a 1299s, what other extra,s are on a 1299s compaired to the 1299. i am planning a panigale and hoping its going to be a bit more rider friendly/comfortable than my 1098s. not that its a bad bike, its just that i am not getting any younger.

  2. The S gets the lighter forged wheels. Probably a bigger plus than the Ohlins to be fair.

  3. The S also comes with a LED headlight vs halogen on the base. :)

  4. I bought the s model because I wanted the extra bling. However I doubt i notice any of the differences on the road compared to base model. I think that despite the lighter wheels the suspension is heavier on the S model and both bikes weigh the same.?.

  5. The suspension is worth it, especially on the road. On trackdays I always had it set pretty much at it's max, I'm not that fast or heavy, quicker/ better riders may find it a bit limiting I would have thought.
    Also they are gold colour, so why wouldn't you want that?
