Rescued today from the fetid swamp that is Boy Child's room, just in time as I think she was suffocating on one of his socks. Didn't stop her putting up a good fight prior to capture though! Placed out side in the sun with a blob of Tate & Kyle's finest, gulped it down for about 10 minutes and waddled away to sleep it off. Tree Bumblebee - Bombus hypnorum. A queen I think, looking for a nest site and flew in through his window...an almost fatal error as I hesitate to enter there without donning my old CBRN response team PPE! Anyhoo...my good deed for the day, I hope to see many more as we like a Stumblebum. Small, hairy, likes the sun and enjoys a drink...Just like me!
Proper cool! Group B cars, separating the men from the boys in the days before the health and safety monkies messed into all up.
