The 1200 fuel gauge certainly has character, it does it's own thing and you are supposed to like that, it adds something very special to a bike that a jap just can't deliver on.
…I was lucky enough to buy it from you. As my first Ducati it’s been an amazing first year of ownership, in for its service next week at Ducati Oxford, and hoping for some dry days ahead soon. Finding neutral can be a challenge esp. & sometimes can miss a gear under hard acceleration when using the quick shift, there’s a nack I think but I’m just about getting used to it. Overall such a fun and easy to ride bike.
Thanks for the update, I think about that bike every day, it was my pride and joy! I'm so glad that you are enjoying it and looking after it. I have a Triumph Street Triple RS, it meets the criteria for being lighter, but it's no Ducati. I'd buy the new Streetfighter today if only there was a lower seat. I tested the new Monster but..................... I used to snick it into neutral rolling to a stop. It didn't really cause me any issues. Quick shifter was good for 2019 and there is a nack, I'm sure you'll find it. Be positive on gear changes, no revs at all on down shifts and revs on when upshifting. Take care enjoy the nice weather..
